Inbindable Volume

Published by VIVID to accompany the work Inbindable Volume by Karin Kihlberg and Reuben Henry. The script from the film is reproduced in full, followed by graphic representations of the film’s music, taken from episode nine of the cartoon Ulysses 31 (1981). The sound effects as Ulysses pushes back the hands of the clock that “regulates time for the entire universe” are also audible in the recording.

The insert presents a recollection from memory of Jorge Luis Borges’ short fiction The Library of Babel (1941) by Eli Noé, commissioned by Kihlebrg and Henry.
